GSA 8(a) STARS II is a multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract engineered to provide Federal agencies with cutting-edge Information Technology (IT) solutions from award-winning 8(a) small businesses.

NIS is eligible for GSA 8(a) STARS II contracts in Constellations I & II, and in all four Functional Areas (FAs):

• FA 1 – NAICS 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services

• FA 2 – NAICS 541512 – Computer Systems Design Services

• FA 3 – NAICS 541513 – Computer Facilities Management Services

• FA 4 – NAICS 541519 – Other Computer Related Services

The scope of the 8(a) STARS II Government wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is centered on these FAs, derived from the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). The contract offers simple to complex IT service solutions such as: IT Help Desk support, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Virtualization, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Web 2.0, and more.

Features. $10 B progrm celing and five-year base period wih one, five-year option. Directed task orders up to $4M. Contract types include: Fixed Price (FP), Labor Hour (LH), an Time & Materials (T&M). Two constellatios (tiers). Permit other direct costs when it is integral and necessary to the IT effort. Acces to exceptionally qualified 8(a) small business industry partners. Pre-compted, easy-to-use contract with streamlined ordering procedures based on FAR 16.505. Complimentary scope compatibility reviews. Compliance wih Section 843 of the National Defence Authorization Act (NDAA) of 2008 (Enhanced Competition Requirements fr Task and Delivery Order Contracts) and Section 863 of the NDAA 2009 (Requirements for Purchases of Property and Services Pursuan to Multiple Award Contracts).
