NIS Wins Recompete of USGS Contract (July 2021)

On July 22, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) announced that NIS was awarded the Science Collaboration and Application Services III (SCAS-III) contract to support the Associate Chief Information Officer (ACIO) for the USGS enterprise. The scope of work includes custom applications development to telecommunication support, Web Development, enterprise hosting/collaboration, and network/server administration and increase use of cloud-based environments for both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The new contract, the company's largest, will last five years and continue to employ people at locations across the country.
